TarotLens
A daily tarot reflection app with an AI reading assistant built for self-discovery, not fortune-telling.

The idea
A short, repeatable morning ritual: draw a card, reflect on it, and write down what comes up. TarotLens treats tarot as a reflection tool - archetypes and structured questions that help people think through priorities, feelings, and decisions - rather than prediction.
What I built
- Daily draws and custom spreads, from a single focus card to a Celtic Cross, with support for physical cards logged into the app.
- The Reading Assistant, an AI that interprets a spread in context - including reversals and the question being asked - and suggests prompts to think further.
- A private reflection journal that saves insights and surfaces recurring cards and themes over time.
Decisions that mattered
- Positioning the AI as a reflective guide, not a fortune-teller, and holding that line in the product and in every interpretation it writes.
- Keeping the experience calm and short enough to become a daily habit.
- Treating journal entries as private by default.
My contribution
I designed and built the app: the product, the reading experience, and the AI Reading Assistant.
What this doesn't prove
TarotLens is a live consumer app. Nothing here is evidence of user numbers or revenue.
